National Day for Truth & Reconciliation
At B&A, we recognize the importance of listening, learning, and building relationships grounded in respect and understanding. Our work in planning, design, and engagement takes place on the traditional territories of Indigenous Peoples, and we are committed to approaching this work with humility and a responsibility to reconciliation.
Tomorrow, we pause to remember, reflect, and commit.
September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Orange Shirt Day)—a day to honour Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and reflect on how each of us can contribute to reconciliation in meaningful ways.
Across the country, communities will gather in ceremony, storytelling, art, listening, and learning. This day invites us not only to acknowledge the truth of our shared history, but also to take part in building relationships rooted in respect, understanding, and action.
If you’re in Calgary, Edmonton, or Vancouver, there are many opportunities to engage and participate locally.
