Sullivan Station Redevelopment Permit
B&A was engaged by TELUS Communications Inc. to undertake a comprehensive site due diligence and planning analysis to inform their development program the company’s Sullivan station and yard in Surrey, British Columbia. TELUS a world-leading communications and information technology company, and the new TELUS Park is an industrial hub in the heart of Surrey that is designed to respectfully respond to local and market context, site sensitivities, and construction feasibility. This hub is the consolidation of operations at three sites in Surrey which will house field dispatch, central warehousing, and a training facility for field teams servicing Lower Mainland.
B&A was retained to lead a multidisciplinary team of architectural, planning, environmental, engineering, and transportation experts through a highly complex permitting process with the City of Surrey that involved a Development Variance Permit for a Form and Character, Sensitive Ecosystem and Hazardous lands. B&A worked closely with the project team to bring the project through a year-long City process that led to the successful approval of the project.
